Former deputy attorney general Rod Rosenstein stepped down from the No. 2 position in the Department of Justice in May 2019, started looking for his next job that September, and landed at King & Spalding in January 2020 as an equity partner.

Rosenstein’s role overseeing Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election made him a household name in law and politics.
