Alternative legal services provider Lawyers On Demand (LOD) has opened an office in New York City, its first in the U.S., in collaboration with legal technology consultancy SYKE.
LOD co-founder Simon Harper said that the office would cater to the provider’s American clients, which include tech, media and energy companies. The company already has a presence in Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates, and the U.K.
