Despite some promising gains in this year’s Diversity Scorecard, law firm leaders and clients are largely in agreement that there’s more work to be done to advance diversity and inclusion in the legal profession.

Case in point: the 2022 Diversity Scorecard showed the greatest annual increase in the percentage of minority attorneys in the industry since 2001. The total number of minority attorneys rose to 20.2%, up from 18.5% last year and 17.8% in 2020.
