Berwin Leighton Paisner has hired Air Canada general counsel John Baker to head its aviation practice as the firm bids to expand the sector group.
Baker, who focused on a wide range of aviation matters in his role with Air Canada, including defending the company against a hostile takeover bid, joins as a partner and will head up the 35-lawyer industry group.
