Beijing-based Jingsh Law Firm, one of China’s largest law firms by headcount, is preparing to launch offices in South Korea, North Korea and Japan, Matthew Kim, the firm’s partner-in-charge of the three office openings, told Law.com International.

The Beijing-based firm, widely known for its expansionist approach, is planning to set up offices in Tokyo, Seoul and Pyongyang. It is currently making personnel arrangements, scouting for office locations, and dealing with office registration needs. However, no official applications have been made yet, said Kim.
