More American and international law firms are expected to enter the Canadian legal market in the wake of aggressive expansions by firms Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, and Cozen O’Connor.

“These may have been the first few but they will by no means be the last,” said  Warren Smith, managing partner of legal recruitment firm Smith Legal Search.
