The Utah Court of Appeals rejected an appeal by a former law student who borrowed and defaulted on more than $140,000 in loans, rejecting his claims that the lender’s lawsuit seeking to collect the unpaid balance on the loan was time-barred.

In turn, the appellate court affirmed the judgment issued by Fourth District Judge M. James Brady in favor of the lender, AccessLex Institute.
