A Missouri judge has postponed a planned jury trial this month over the pesticide Roundup after Monsanto raised concerns about rising COVID-19 cases.

Amid skyrocketing COVID-19 cases, a jury trial set to begin Jan. 31 could lead to a “jilted presentation of evidence and logistical frustration,” according to Monsanto in a court filing titled an “application to continue the trial one month due to the omicron COVID-19 variant.”
