Caetano “Cae” Altafin, an associate at Hogan Lovells in Rio de Janeiro, didn’t spend the day of the opening ceremonies for the 2016 Summer Olympics in his office. He was running outside the stadium.

In the lead-up to the Summer Games in Rio de Janeiro, 12,000 people were selected to run with the Olympic flame on an all-inclusive tour of Brazil. The hefty task began 90 days before the games began on Aug. 5, and featured Altafin as one of the final runners.
