St. Louis-based Am Law 200 firm Armstrong Teasdale has elected a new managing partner, effective June 1.

John Beulick, a partner in the firm’s intellectual property group, succeeded Michael Chivell, who held the post since 2007. Chivell, a corporate attorney by trade, has been elected chairman of the firm, and will focus on duties including strategic planning and lateral recruitment.
