Boies Schiller & Flexner said Monday that it is beefing up its white-collar defense and complex litigation practices with the hire of former federal prosecutor Sean O’Shea, who will join the firm in June along with the rest of his small New York litigation boutique, O’Shea Partners.

In announcing the move, Boies Schiller praised O’Shea’s long track record as a trial lawyer, noting that he has taken more than 85 cases to verdict during his career. He comes to Boies Schiller after two decades helming his own small law firm and about a decade prosecuting securities fraud and other white-collar cases in the Eastern District of New York.
