Kirkland & Ellis, a top-tier Am Law 100 firm that earlier this year extended the notice period for departing partners, has once again dipped into the lateral hiring pool to bolster its ranks on both coasts.

YI-CHIN HO, an equity white-collar litigation and investigations partner at Latham & Watkins after joining the firm’s Los Angeles office in 2013 from Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, left Latham this week for Kirkland’s office in the city. Kirkland, which recently began offering wellness training to all its U.S. lawyers, also recruited Weil, Gotshal & Manges private equity partners MICHAEL WEISSER and SARAH STASNY in New York, as noted by Bloomberg Big Law Business.
