A year after joining Hausfeld in London in an effort by the leading U.S. plaintiffs firm to ramp up its U.K. and European competition practice, antitrust litigator Edward Coulson has returned to the British firm where he spent more than a decade.

Berwin Leighton Paisner announced Coulson’s hire in an April 12 statement, which noted that Coulson trained and rose to the rank of senior associate at the firm before leaving for Hausfeld in April 2015. Coulson, who was hired by Hausfeld as a partner, is expected to reunite with BLP as a partner on its competition team within the firm’s litigation and corporate risk practice.
