Wilson Elser Moskowitz Edelman & Dicker became the latest big firm to bet on Texas this week by bringing on 11 lawyers from Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith in the Lone Star State.

KENT ADAMS, the former managing partner of Lewis Brisbois’ offices in Houston and Beaumont, Texas, has become the new regional leader for Wilson Elser’s offices in both cities. The Beaumont base will be a new addition to the Wilson Elser platform, according to sibling publication Texas Lawyer, which notes that partners RUSSELL HEALD and ROSS JONES will join the firm in the city.
