Kelley Drye & Warren announced this week that it had absorbed four-lawyer IP boutique Ward & Zinna, becoming the latest in a group of large firms that have tacked on IP shops with litigation capabilities.

The firm picks up both name partners in John Ward, who specializes in patents, and Michael Zinna, who handles trademark and other IP-related work. Ward & Zinna special counsel Frank Morris and senior associate David Lindenbaum will follow their firm’s former namesakes to Kelley Drye.
