While law firm managing partners remain a mostly optimistic bunch, their confidence in economic and legal industry growth has fallen for a third straight quarter, according to a survey released Tuesday by Citi Private Bank’s Law Firm Group.

At the same time, law firm leaders were more bullish about revenue growth and profits at their own firms, and they continued to believe that associate hiring will increase, according to the Citi Managing Partner Confidence Index.
