DAVID HARDISON, a longtime Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson partner and co-head of the firm’s professional services defense and counseling practice in Washington, D.C., quietly left the firm this summer to join the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board.

The Am Law Daily reached out to Hardison last month to discuss his decision to leave Fried Frank, where he spent the past 30 years in the firm’s securities enforcement, regulation and white-collar defense practice, but did not hear back by the time of this column.
