Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman chair James Rishwain will step down from his position in December 2016 after completing the term that he was just re-elected to, the firm announced Wednesday. Rishwain was first elected chair in 2006.

“When I pass the baton, I will have served for more than a decade,” Rishwain said in a statement. “I have no doubt but that the next chair will bring a fresh perspective and additional innovation to our firm and our industry, building on the strategic foundation we have established.”
