Prentice O’Leary spent nearly 40 years in The Am Law 100. To unwind, he sought a Rocky Mountain high, albeit one that consistently sends him downhill.

A former bankruptcy partner at Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton, O’Leary, who will soon turn 73, worked at the firm from 1968 through 2005, when he retired and switched to an of counsel role. Since 2006, he’s worked as a part-time ski instructor at Colorado’s Beaver Creek Resort.
