Willkie Farr & Gallagher is opening an office in Houston, marking the Wall Street firm’s foray into the booming legal market in Texas as well as its first new domestic office since 1981, when it opened in Washington, D.C.
Willkie’s Houston office will be led by corporate partner Bruce Herzog, together with Michael Piazza, who joins from Bracewell & Giuliani, and Angela Olivarez from Jones Day.
