Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman has opened an office in Beijing with a team of five lawyers from Paul Hastings.

Former Paul Hastings Beijing office managing partner David Livdahl and partner Jenny Sheng have joined the firm’s corporate and securities practice in Beijing. Livdahl represents multinationals on investing and operating in China and on international arbitration and dispute resolution matters across Asia. Sheng advises on cross-border mergers and acquisitions. Both partners will spend time in Shanghai, where Pillsbury has had an office since 2007.
