Billionaire heir Daren Metropoulos—whose family investment firm Metropoulos & Co. owns Twinkies-maker Hostess Brands LLC—has closed on his $100 million purchase of the famed Playboy Mansion.

Grottos and girlfriends aside, a pair of Los Angeles-based firms picked up the work on the record-setting real estate sale. Lawyers from Cox, Castle & Nicholson and Eisner Jaffe made themselves at home on the asset exchange, and so did Hugh Hefner. Under the terms of the deal, the 90-year-old magazine magnate will stay put at the mansion for the remainder of his life.
