Paul Hastings is not letting the record profits it saw last year go to waste. The firm will announce Monday its acquisition of a securities enforcement boutique, a move that bolsters its white-collar practice in Los Angeles and brings its total number of new laterals in 2016 to 14.

The six-lawyer boutique, Zaccaro Morgan, was formed last year by Nicolas Morgan, the West Coast chair of DLA Piper’s securities enforcement practice, and Thomas Zaccaro, a former chair of Paul Hastings’ litigation department in Los Angeles who now returns to his former home.
