Husch Blackwell is merging again. After acquiring firms in Denver and Austin so far this decade, the Kansas City, Missouri-based firm announced Friday that it will join forces with the 150-lawyer Wisconsin firm Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek.

The merger, planned for July 1, will grow Husch Blackwell’s head count by more than 25 percent, leaving it with about 715 lawyers in 19 cities. Husch Blackwell said that it will gain three offices in Wisconsin and add 10 lawyers to its Chicago office as a result of the deal, and its annual revenues will increase to $346 million. That would restore the firm to the Am Law 100 list after an absence of several years.
