After setbacks in key financial metrics in 2014, O’Melveny & Myers had a rebound year in 2015. The firm’s gross revenue grew by 3.7 percent, to $689.5 million, while revenue per lawyer increased 8 percent, to $1.085 million, and profits per partner increased 10.3 percent, to $1.76 million.

O’Melveny had record financial years in 2012 and 2013; the drop-off in 2014 was attributed to the end of several large litigations. While 2014 “was a year of replenishing, filling up the pipeline,” chair Bradley Butwin says that in 2015, “our work levels increased across the board. We saw a return to more normal levels, especially in litigation.”
