Following in the footsteps of a key competitor, the labor and employment firm Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart has opened its first office in Canada. Ogletree set up shop in Toronto on Jan. 11, adding to its 48 existing offices in the U.S., Mexico and Europe.

Ogletree’s push northward comes five months after another labor and employment giant, Littler Mendelson, opened its first outpost in Canada, also settling on Toronto.
