While Manatt, Phelps & Phillips saw another California-based partner decamp for Sidley Austin, it brought onboard a new partner to beef up its health care practice in Washington, D.C.

MICHAEL YAGHI, formerly a partner specializing in advertising, media and litigation in Manatt’s Costa Mesa office, is making the jump to Sidley, where he will serve as counsel in Los Angeles. The move continues a West Coast raid that Sidley began last month, when Manatt partners Chad Hummel and Clayton Friedman left to join the firm in LA.
