A pot bar began luring lawyers nationwide into its ranks after going live last week.

The National Cannabis Bar Association (NCBA) officially launched with a current Akerman partner and former Reed Smith partner as members of its founding board of directors. The organization’s mission is to bring a relatively niche practice area into the mainstream, despite the reservations of some Am Law 200 firms to embrace clients in a blooming industry.
