Ahead of its proposed combination with Dentons, more lawyers are leaving McKenna Long & Aldridge, even as the latter made a hire of its own to bolster its depleted partnership ranks.

On Wednesday, McGuireWoods will announce its addition of three partners in Atlanta and New York from McKenna Long, which sibling publication The Recorder reported last month had dangled exit deals to some departing partners in order to receive their assent to a deal with Dentons, one that initially faltered in late 2013. (The Daily Report, another affiliate, looked this week at what Dentons hopes to gain by absorbing McKenna Long.)
