A real estate team from McKenna Long & Aldridge is leaving the firm’s San Francisco office for Arent Fox ahead of the former’s pending merger with global legal giant Dentons.

Arent Fox hired partner TIMOTHY TOSTA and senior counsel STEVE ATKINSON from McKenna Long, according to sibling publication The Recorder, which notes that conflicts are a primary reason for the move. Tosta and Atkinson previously worked at Luce, Forward, Hamilton & Scripps, which, after a rough financial year in 2011, was absorbed into McKenna Long, a firm that saw its own financial performance sag in 2014.
