Morris Manning & Martin is handling another multi-billion dollar REIT transaction. Partner Lauren Prevost is leading a 14-lawyer team advising Cole Corporate Income Trust (CCIT) on its $3.1 billion sale to Select Income REIT, a larger, publicly traded real estate investment trust.
The REITs announced the agreement Sept. 2, and the deal is expected to close in early 2015, subject to the approval of both funds’ stockholders.
