Weil, Gotshal & Manges, which experienced an exodus of partners in Dallas last year that was the subject of a May feature story in The American Lawyer, has made a key hire in the city by poaching Dentons corporate partner JOHN QUATTROCCHI.

Quattrocchi, a private equity and M&A expert who joined Dentons predecessor firm SNR Denton in 2011 from Andrews Kurth, is having something of a homecoming at Weil. He began his career as an associate at the firm. Weil’s hire of Quattrochi, 44, came amid a report by U.K. publication Legal Week that the firm had begun holding certain departing equity partners to 10-year repayment plans for their capital contributions.
