Delayed Reaction—A New York City law firm representing former “Real Housewives of New Jersey” cast member Jacqueline Laurita and her husband, Christopher Laurita, in a pending bankruptcy suit will be allowed to withdraw from the case, but U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Robert Grossman told the reality stars that a change in counsel would not delay court hearings.

Grossman’s decision and subsequent warning came on Aug. 18, after a team from Manhattan’s Olshan Frome Wolosky, representing the creditor, filed an objection in U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York on July 25, opposing Troutman Sanders‘ motion to withdrawal as counsel for the reality stars.
