Creating a handy checklist that details an organization’s expectations of its vendors can help IT professionals avoid scrambling at the 11th hour to finish a project, said a panel of legal IT professionals at the International Legal Technology Association conference in Nashville Wednesday.

A Checklist for Getting the Most Out of Your E-Discovery Vendor Relationship,” featured Kristen Atteberry, senior litigation support analyst at Faegre Baker Daniels; Brett Tarr, counsel, litigation e-discovery in the Caesars Entertainment legal department; and e-discovery writer Barbara “Babs” Deacon. Melissa Schiestel, litigation support manager at Ontario law firm Lerners, moderated the panel. A majority of the 70+ audience members worked at law firms.
