Cybersecurity is on the agenda of the upcoming International Legal Technology Association conference at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center in Nashville, August 17 to 21.

In May 2012, ILTA launched its LegalSEC unit to develop “guidelines for risk-based information security programs that are achievable, measurable and mature,” said steering committee chair Judith Flournoy, who is the CIO at Kelley Drye & Warren. Other LegalSEC goals include helping to educate the legal community, as well as to help organizations comply with ISO 27000 series standards. Their efforts show in the 2014 programming.
