Steve Earnest is the senior vice president, general counsel and secretary of Herschend Family Entertainment Corp. (HFE), the largest family-owned themed attractions corporation in the United States. The company creates, develops and operates entertainment, tourism and hospitality properties spanning 26 locations in 10 states, attracting more than 13 million guests annually.
Among the attractions HFE owns and operates are Silver Dollar City in Branson, Mo., Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tenn., Wild Adventures in Valdosta, Adventure Aquarium in Camden, N.J., and Newport Aquarium in Newport, Ky. HFE also manages many of the attractions at Stone Mountain Park. Most recently, HFE welcomed the Harlem Globetrotters to its portfolio of themed attractions.
