• Allen Fagin, former chairman of Proskauer Rose, has been appointed executive vice president and chief professional officer of the Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America, also known as the Orthodox Union (OU), a kosher certification organization. Fagin retired from Proskauer at the end of 2013.
• Blank Rome has added James Odell as co-head of its financial services industry team and as a partner in the finance, restructuring and bankruptcy group. Odell joins Blank Rome from The Depository Trust & Clearing Corp.
