The attorney for William Stepien, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie’s former campaign manager, claims there are inaccuracies about his client in the report issued by Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher following its Bridgegate investigation, and he wants them fixed.
Kevin Marino, in a letter to Gibson Dunn’s Randy Mastro, cited statements in the March 27 report that Stepien “falsely assured” Christie he had no prior knowledge of a purported “lane realignment” and that an adverse inference may be drawn from Stepien’s invoking of his Fifth Amendment privilege.
