The New York County Lawyers Association’s fundraising arm, the NYCLA Foundation, is hosting a musical comedy show April 24 to honor the life and career of Betty Weinberg Ellerin, the first female justice of the Appellate Division, First Department.
The “Book of Betty” will feature performances by Appellate Division, First Department, Justice Barbara Kapnick; NYCLA president Barbara Moses; past president Stewart Aaron; NYCLA Foundation president Lewis Tesser and several other NYCLA members. Peter Dizozza, a lawyer and composer, will play the piano.
