Texas lawyers at Vinson & Elkins, Andrews Kurth and Norton Rose Fulbright represent three of the four participants in a joint venture formed to develop gas-to-liquids (GTL) plants in the United States and elsewhere that will produce renewable fuels and chemicals from bio-gas and natural gas.

Waste Management Inc., based in Houston; Pasadena’s Ventech Engineers International; NRG Energy Inc. of Princeton, N.J.; and Velocys, a United Kingdom company that has operations in Houston, announced the joint venture on March 24.
