The Appellate Division, First Department, has appointed labor and employment attorney Ernest Collazo to chair its Departmental Disciplinary Committee. Collazo took the position on Jan. 1.
Collazo, 64, is the managing partner of Collazo Florentino & Keil, a management-side labor and employment boutique firm. He was at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett from 1977 to 1991, first as an associate and then as a partner. Prior to that, he was a field attorney with the National Labor Relations Board from 1974 to 1977.
