Former Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas Judge William J. Manfredi said that he will be primarily focusing his post-judicial career on mediation and arbitration, while also looking for ways to educate nonlegal professionals about the court system and teaching other jurisdictions about effective court administration.

Manfredi, who retired last month after roughly 31 years on the bench, said that he will be doing mediation and arbitration independently and has been placed on the American Arbitration Association’s roster of neutrals. He indicated that he is one of 200 people on the nationwide list.
