Ernest Abbott, 63, has joined Baker Donelson’s Washington office as of counsel to the firm’s state public policy group. Abbott focuses on emergency management and disaster recovery. Abbott previously was the principal owner of FEMA Law Associates. He earned his J.D. from Harvard Law School.

Neil MacBride has joined Davis Polk & Wardwell’s Washington office as a partner in the white-collar defense and investigations practice. He previously served as U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia. MacBride earned his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law.
