After being rebuffed earlier this year on its previous takeover offer, American Realty Capital Properties has finally reached an agreement to buy Cole Real Estate Investments in a transaction that creates the country's largest real estate investment trust (REIT) in the net lease sector. Proskauer Rose is advising American Realty while Fried Frank, Morris, Manning & Martin, Sullivan & Cromwell, Venable, Wachtell, and Weil also landed roles on the deal.
