Morgan Lewis and Allen & Overy landed lead roles on Rosneft's $2.9 billion purchase of Itera's 49 percent stake in an Arctic gas joint venture between the two companies. Meanwhile, Exco Resources has agreed to buy nearly $1 billion in shale assets from Chesapeake Energy Corporation, with Latham, Wachtell, and Oklahoma City firm Commercial Law Group advising on that transaction.
