Michigan-based Miller Canfield has appointed a new Shanghai office resident director and principal. Admitted to practice in the U.S., Wang Yanping is part of Miller Canfields corporate team and China practice.
Wang focuses on advising international clients on their China-related investments, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and corporate financing matters. She also advises Chinese clients on their business ventures overseas, particularly in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Poland. Wang also acts on intellectual property matters including helping foreign clients develop an IP strategy for China and conducting IP due diligence, and advising on custom protection issues.
