AZB & Partners and Simpson Thacher & Bartlett are advising Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. on a joint investment with the International Finance Corporation in an Indian asset finance company.
KKR is making the acquisition through a holding company, Zend Mauritius VC Investments Ltd., which will own a 14.95 percent stake in Magma Fincorp Ltd. International Finance Corporation, a private investment arm of the World Bank Group, will have a 12.8 percent interest. The combined investment will be $97 million.
