Karen Krug was tired of schlepping around the world. Between her work as an of counsel in Dentons’ energy practice in Kazakhstan; a 2009-2010 stint as president of the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators; and responsibilities to aging family members in the United States, Krug racked up frequent flier miles across five continents.

“It sounds fun, but it was really tiring,” Krug says. “Working overseas, you have so much more demands on your time.”
