A week after Kirkland & Ellis made another prominent lateral hire by poaching a private equity partner from McDermott Will & Emery in Chicago, the former saw one of its corporate partners in New York leave for Willkie Farr & Gallagher.

According to records on file with the New York State Unified Court System, DAVID TARR recently departed for Willkie, where he joins former Kirkland private equity partners Kirk Radke, who arrived at Willkie a year ago this month, and Leonard Klingbaum, who came aboard this fall.
