A three-judge panel of Singapore’s Court of Appeal has ruled that a prominent English barrister may not appear in a Singapore appellate case.

Chief Justice Sundaresh Menon and Judges Chao Hick Tin and Andrew Phang Boon Leong overturned a High Court ruling which had granted nTan Corporate Advisory Pte Ltd.’s application to have Michael Beloff QC admiited to practice on an ad hoc basis.
